This widget controls your very own Nabaztag wi-fi bunny, or that of someone else if they give you their API serial number and Token
NEWS!
It seems that the violet servers are still unreliable, and the API server has been down many nights. As this widget requires the use of the API server, the widget will not be able to connect if the API server is down. To check if the API server is running, try this link: http://api.nabaztag.com/vl/FR/api.jsp?key=81437671. If your browser hangs or you get "Service Temporarily Unavilable" or a 404, then the nabaztag API server is down. I'm sorry for any problems this has caused, but it is beyond my control.
I have just updated this widget to work with the new nabaztag servers and API, so as long as nabaztag.com is working properly, this widget should work properly. I believe it will work with the new nabaztag/tag, but until I get one, I am unsure. If you have problems getting it to work, please email help [at] nab widget [daht] com and I will try to get back to you ASAP.
The second release (v1.5) appears to be stable, but some inconsistencies have been found when an invalid serial or token are used. To get your very own token so you can control your rabbit, go to my.nabaztag.com, log in, go to tools, click on API and sign up for one. You will also need to authorize reception of external events.
control and options
controls: on the front of the widget are the ear buttons, a text-to-speech window, and a "go" button to send your text.
on the back of the widget, you will need to enter your serial number and your token. You have the options to control:
- refresh: the amount of time between when it automatically checks your nabaztag to see if someone has moved its ears.
- voice: your choice of two French and six English speaking voices.
- ear buttons: the transparency level of the ear buttons. They will still work when fully transparent, they are just not easy to find.
usage
click on an ear button to move an ear. enter some text and hit "go" to speak

technical support
I am pretty busy, but if you really need support, please email me: help [at] nab widget [daht] com
There may be a few bugs I haven't found, but I think I have tested most condidions.
credit
I got the idea for this widget after seeing Nyami's Widget It is the first widget out there, and works with the Yahoo widget engine, so PC users can use it nicely.
I borrowed the images from Nyami's widget, but had to re-code everything. Special props to Nyami, though.
future plans
Well, I have the calls for the LEDs, but I should put in the full RGB LEDs so that I can simulate any LED colour. Being able to put in choreography would be nice, but I imagine it would take me quite a while to put that together.
